Summers bring in the heat, but along with, it also brings some delicious fruits like mango and litchi. Litchi is a sweet fruit with amazing floral fragrance. Litchi is not only tasty but it also helps to beat the heat. A lot of people are of opinion that litchi has a lot of fruit sugar, and only contributes to calories, While this is not completely true, There are some surprising health benefits that litchi has to offer.

Litchi (Lychee) is a very good antioxidant fruit. It has good amount of vitamin C and flavanoids that protect the body from oxidative stress. Hence Litchi (Lychee) is a good anti-ageing fruit and it keeps the body’s organs and skin free from oxidative damage.  Litchi helps in improving overall immunity of the body. It helps in cases of inflammations and cancers. Litchi contains quercitin and kaemferol which may be helpful in reducing the cancer cell proliferation.

Litchi has good amount of poly-phenols and soluble fibre pectin, both these nutrients helps in binding up the excess bad cholesterol and removing it from the body.   • Hi madam,
    I am a 38 year old female,married.My weight is 75 amd my height is 158cm. I have health problems like gastric and acidity, due to this i cannot sleep properly in the night. So, regarding this issue i have consulted doctors and they have told me to reduced 10-15kg.
    So,kindly suggest me a suitable diet plan so that i can reduce my weight.
