As we talk about the benefits of chironji seeds, I remember from my school years , my mother always made a special face pack.  It had multani mitti and crushed chironji seed along with some sandalwood powder and milk cream .  She said it will keep the  skin moist and soft like baby’s skin. And it actually worked. so benefits of chironji seeds are age old.

Chironji seeds are also known as Cuddapah almond. These are small seeds that look and taste very similar to almonds. Chironji seeds looks like lentils. It is  used as a spice for cooking in the Indian subcontinent. Chironji has different names in various languages of India. Charoli in Gujarati. Karaka in Tamil. Sara chettu in Telugu and Nurkal in Kanada. The Latin name of Chironji is Buchanania lanza. Charoli seeds are not only used in cooking but also in making traditional Indian medicine.

    Hey, we always use this as part of dry fruits, and mostly we use it at the time of making medicine.
    But today I got to know about these so many benefits of Chironji.
