  • 12 chicken legs
  • 1 tsp chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp chopped ginger
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp ground cumin seeds
  • ¼ cup yogurt
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp carom seeds
  • 1 tsp gram flour

        Procedure:

  1. Wash and clean the chicken legs.
  2. Prick the chicken with a fork.
  3. Take a bowl and mix all the ingredients and add the chicken.
  4. Use your fingers to rub the marinade all over the chicken and put it in the refrigerator for at least 4-6 hours.
  5. Heat the grill/over/tandoor and put the chicken pieces to roast till they are brown.
  6. Sprinkle some chat masala and serve with onion rings.

 

 

  1. Chatpati Aloo Tikki

If you wish to eat something tangy and spicy, you just can’t miss the street foods of India. Aloo Tikki is a very filling snack prepared with potatoes. To prepare gluten-free aloo-Tikki, you will require the following ingredients:

  • 8-10 potatoes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • one tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • Finely chopped coriander leaves
  • Oil for frying

Procedure:

  1. Boil the potatoes and allow them to cool a bit.
  2. Peel them and mash them in a bowl.
  3. Add the spices and coriander leaves and mix thoroughly.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan.
  5. Make small Tikki with your hands.
  6. When the oil is hot, put the Tikki in the pan for frying.
  7. Remove when golden brown.

    This is very useful diet plan. I have been diagnosed with Hashimoto (hypothyroidism) recently. I have been advised to try Gluten-free diet to reduce inflammation. I am Vegetarian (eats eggs). Do you have any suggestions apart from this diet plan? I hope I can reduce some weight by cutting down Gluten from my food.

    • Hi Charvi , i dont have a hashimoto sample plan , but the main difference in regular hypothyroid plan and hashimoto's is gluten . so you can follow a gluten free diet as in the above diet chart, and at the same time check these - for other nutritional requirements and suggestions.
