- We collect all the information about our self-image from people we know and what they think about us. And when we look at our reflection in the mirror, we apply that information and form our self-image.
- In simple terms, we look at our self through the eyes of others. And that is how we do injustice with our own body. We consume our self in hatred for our own body. We start creating negative thoughts for our body.

The foundation of the Law of Attraction is to believe that it actually works. You need to use the same 3 steps that you would use while you use this Law of attraction for any other thing. These 3 steps are as follows –
Step 1 – Ask for it!
Decide in your mind about what is your health goal. How much body weight you need to lose, and what is the weight you want for your body at the end. Create a vision of how you want to look and how healthy you want to be. A clear vision is very important in order to achieve the end results.
When you do this visualization and imagine the end results, You align your thoughts with your health goal. Your body starts preparing itself to receive the end weight loss result. This first step is important because it starts building a pathway for the Law of attraction to give you the desired results.
How to create a vision for yourself and your future body?
- Write down about what your ideal life looks like. This can include how you want your body to be. Be specific and be realistic. Write down how much you want to weigh in the future. Write down how each of your body parts is so beautiful, toned, strong and healthy.
- While you write about your health goals, also create of vision of how you can achieve it. Write down and Visualize yourself doing the workouts that you like, healthy foods that you like to eat to lose weight.
- Put your focus on being healthy rather than on being slimmer. This goal is much larger and when you use the law of attraction with so much dedication, apply it on larger things in life and all the small things will automatically start falling in place.
- Whatever you write, you need to write it in context and the stuff that you actually enjoy doing. Like for ex- if you do not enjoy swimming or doing gym, but you enjoy walking, running, dancing and Zumba, then write about these things that you enjoy doing. So that you can live your vision as a reality.
Step 2 – Believe in it!
Believing is achieving. If you can convince yourself in believing that you deserve the weight loss and That the law of attraction is making it possible for you, the weight loss will soon follow. When the fears in your subconscious mind start popping up, then it means you are not believing in it enough.
If you think about, how you have always been this chubby and fat and that weight loss is so difficult for you, how you hate working out and eating the veggies, these thoughts send out a loud signal and you keep attracting these things in your life.
Letting your thoughts free from the self-doubts and your inner fears is difficult. But if you continue to practice the affirmations that we have mentioned in the later part of this article, believing will become easy and smooth.
How to Believe in your Goals of weight loss and attract them?
- Imagine your visions and believe they are real.
- Visualize meeting a good friend after 2 years, and then the friend complementing you on how healthy and thin you have become in these years. Imagine how happy you would feel at this compliment. talk to this friend in your mind. Tell her about how you achieved it by following the simple workouts that you love doing and the simple diets where you ate everything you liked and still continued to lose weight and so on.
- If you are not very good at creating imaginations, then look in a mirror and talk to your reflection. Tell yourself that you are so fit, you are so healthy. That your weight is ….. (The weight you want to be at). say out loud, “ I love healthy food and i lose weight so easily .”

Step 3 – Receive it!
So now you have a vision and you have let go of your fears and believe in the law of attraction bringing it to you in reality. You have practiced the imagination exercises from step 1 and 2 and now you are ready for the next step in the process. It is time to bringing these imaginations into reality.
This step may feel a little awkward to you. But trust me, it will get you much much closer to the goal. Take some action, behave as if you already are the shape and size you are aiming for.
How to act that you are receiving your Weight loss?
- Go to a shopping mall, and buy 2-3 beautiful clothes that you find really attractive and buy them in a size that you are aiming for after weight loss.
- For eg – if you wear an extra large T-shirt, and your aim is to reach to a small size, then buy a small size Tshirt.
- Place these clothes in your current wardrobe, hang them where you get to see them each time you browse your wardrobe.
- And then take one of it our every day, and imagine wearing it, and then rocking that look.

Before writing this post, I searched really hard on the internet for collecting more ideas on how i can influence my readers and give them more real examples. But i ended up in Vain, all most all the articles were simply written around the same sentences repeated in several ways. And none of them had an actual plan laid down to simply the process.
So I decided to simplify it for you so that you can actually include this super powerful law of attraction in your life and lose weight with it. I have shortlisted some tools that will help you in losing weight by using the Law of attraction.
1] Vision Board
- Vision boards are what we discussed in step 1. This Magic board will help you in visualizing and then imagining that you are already living a healthy and fit life.
- You need a chart paper/hardboard. Name it as your Magic Board.
- If you have been thin at any point of time in your life and you want to go back to looking the same way, then all you need is your pictures of those days. Take these pictures and stick them on the board randomly . Give a heading to each picture that you can read every day. For Ex – Look good, feel good. I am healthy. Eat healthily. I look beautiful. Beach Body. etc . it should connect with the picture you are pasting.
- If you don’t have any such pictures to go back to, then you can use the cutouts of the actors and actresses or models with whom you relate, and they inspire you to become thin. For Ex – if you are aiming at post-pregnancy weight loss, you can find your role model in Kareena Kapoor or in Lisa Haydon or Soha Ali Khan. These new mommies have magically gotten back to their shapes with all the hard work.
- Similarly, you can find pictures of healthy foods and exercises or workouts that you plan on doing and put them on the board along with relative words.
- Place this magic board in a place where you can easily see it several times during the day. The best place is right in front of your bed. You can view the board and read the tags before going to bed and as soon as you wake up. That way you will attract weight loss more easily.
- Some people are very good at imaginations while some are terrible at it. so if you find a hard time in imagining, you will delay the weight loss due to this. So practice visualization every day.
- Fix a time of the day or just before your bedtime when you are free from your chores.
- If you are into meditation, meditate. If you are not . just close your eyes and feel the inner peace and silence.

3] Pay your Gratitude
- You are more likely to receive the desired goals if you are grateful for what you already have.
- Every night before you sleep, pay your gratitude to all those who are helping you in achieving your desired weight loss.
- You can be thankful to your Gym instructor, Your dietitian, Your Cook, The authors of the books you are reading to get help from. etc. The list is endless. The more you feel grateful for getting help in your weight loss journey, sooner you will attract your ultimate goal.
- You can be Grateful to things and equipment too.
As we discussed in Step 2, It is hard to believe without self-doubt.
