How is this Indian diet plan for weight gain made?

Weight gain requires a person to take in more calories with good quality proteins and other nutritious food. However, it is hard to provide good quality proteins to vegetarians because of the limited sources available. But in the above-given chart, I have tried to incorporate as many good sources as possible. Addition of skimmed milk powder to your milk and vegetable gravies and also to your dough while kneading are good ways to convert the “not so nutritious food ” into ” nutritious “.

Note – this is a generalized Indian diet plan for weight gain. This Indian diet plan for weight gain may or may not be suitable to you as an individual. Although there is no harm in following this Indian diet plan for weight gain, results will be based on suitability and your personal body requirements. Hello Ma’am!

If I’m following this diet plan, what would be the best time to exercise? I only have time in the evening because of office.

Additionally, for how long exercise should be done?

    Thanks a lot!

you need to workout for 50 mins or more. where 20 mins of aerobic exercises and the remaining time for strength training exercises is required. evening is fine.

fish is better . it gives more protein . eggs are good too . any chicken preparation where much oil is not involved is good . as you would not want to gain fat weight .

      Hi Shraddha ,

protein is your answer. if your diet os deficient in protein , you will face all the problems that you have mentioned . please include some egg whites , spouted foods like mung , matki, and other legumes. eat soyabean in any form and increase your milk intake. if you still feel that the problem is not solved , mix a good protein powder 4-5 scoops in a glass of milk and have it 2-3 times a day.

      Hi Jatin ,

you cannot label any particu;lar gainer as no. 1 or 2 . logically speaking , the requirement of every individual is different and lifestyle and energy requirement , enegy expenditure all are different . what suits a person may not be suitable to the other person. so instead of searching for the No. 1 product, its best to search for a protein supplement which will help you in gaining weight in accordance to your lifestyle , exercise pattern and calorie intake. are you doing any strength training exercises ?

Thanks Miss for putting up such a nice plan .

My dought is that , i am the most lankiest fellow you would ever see at 1.9 m , aging 22 and merely weighting 70 kgs , but i have always been in the side of heavy eaters .
My breakfast consist of a full plate egg noodles ,or maybe bread omlett with few cookies.
In lunch i have a full plate rice , pulse 3-4 cups , 2-egg omplet or poch ,lots of vegetable , someday i may have chicken or fish instead of egg .
In evening i follow my breakfast routine . In dinner i have 4-5 parathas or 6-7 rotis and veges and omlets . I also tried having a weight gain supplement along with my diet, , still no signs of improvement .I have been a regular patient of tooth aches so i think i am not chewing the foot i eat properly and enough .
Does chewing is as important as amount of food we intake . Is this habit holding me back or it just my imagination. Will you please help me in this and suggest me some good tips for weight gain .
Sorry if i made it too long .

      Hi Roham ,

read tips of weight gain here – https://www.dietburrp.com/how-to-gain-weight/

yes chewing your food well is an important part of digestion . the next process of breakdown , assimilation and nutrient absorption depends on chewing . so if you dont chew well, chances are that most nutrients will be excreated out of the body without absorption . so it definately is important . also wanted to check if you do any exercises . the diet you have mentioned is good . and weight gain should be possible with it . but if you are doing all this without exercises , then chances are that you may not gain much . some people eat a lot but do not gain weight unless they exercises . their BMR is higher than average person . if you fall in the same category , do try strength training .
