Kashmiri Kahwa Tea Recipe (Saffron tea) for Ramadan

Kashmiri kahwa is basically saffron based tea with the goodness of green tea. It is best for a winter morning, or a summer evening if you need to uplift your mood. Simple recipe with a dose of freshness and herbs that will tingle your taste buds.

Kashmiri Kahwa Tea Recipe:

Ingredients

Procedure –

  • Add 3 cups water in a saucepan and add all the spices – cinnamon, green cardamom, saffron strands to it. Bring it to a boil.
  • Add the green tea powder to it and simmer for a few minutes.
  • Add sugar and let it simmer for 1 more minute.
  • Strain the tea in cups and serve hot.

  • Improves Digestion:

Kahwa tea helps in digestion and relieves constipation. When you consume it, it kicks starts your metabolism and cleanses the digestive tract. It has the power of green tea and spices.

  • Builds Immunity:

The antioxidants present in the spices are beneficial in boosting immunity. It especially helps during cough and cold.

  • Relieves Stress:
