yes , yes , hung curd – put 2-3 table spoon of curd on a strainer (chalni) and let it stand for 1 hour , the excess water drains of , and you get tight curd .

you can but use very very little oil for aviyal .

sorry , but curd is not allowed on day 2 . only if you are using upto 50 ml of curd in lots of veggies , it wont harm . otherwise the best way is to cut these veggies and stir them in 1/2 tsp olive oil and little vinegar , add spices to taste and enjoy them hot hot in this winter .

      Hi Ritika ,

sorry , but i do not advocate on lactating mommies following this diet . it will not only affect your health , but it will also affect your baby’s nutritional status and his growth may be compromised. weight loss through diet can wait. please eat a healthy diet for now and feed your little one well. once your little one stops the feeds , or becomes independent in terms of his nutrition requirements, you can focus on getting back to your shape with diet . for now you should eat healthy and start walking or other mild exercise for 30 mins .

Hi – Can we use any chat masala in market? Do we need to limit chat masala , red chilly powder and salt, because more salt is not good for a person on diet / weight loss program.

      Hi Valli,

Yes you can use any chat masala in the market, Use it only in limited amount to add taste to your dish. Yes excess salt will bind water and increase water weight. Specially if you have bloating problem, then limit the intake of salt.

I am a strong believer of healthy should be tasty too. Hence i alwaays allow my clients to explore their taste buds , and add any thing they wish for flavour , if the healthy dish is tasty, they would stick to it for long , or just eat it like a medicine for a day and then forget abt it.
